High-Energy Kentucky Singers Deliver a Fresh Americana-Country Take Packed With Signature Harmonies

Nashville, Tenn. – JoLeigh, the sister duo featuring JoJo Hall and Teddi Cyrus, are back with their brand-new single, “Baby Don’t You Let Go.” Blending the heart of country music with an Americana edge and the sisters’ distinctive harmonies, JoLeigh breathe life into the song with their own spirited energy. The new recording is available now on all digital and streaming platforms via Bonfire Music Group HERE.

“Baby Don’t You Let Go” was written by Sonya Isaacs, Austin Cunningham, Jessi Leigh Alexander. The track was co-produced by Bobby Cyrus and Teddi, and delivers a heartfelt message about holding tracking love when life gets complicated. The track features JoJo Hall and Teddi Cyrus on vocals, with Scott Vestal on banjo, Cody Kilby on guitar, Eamon McLaughlin on fiddle, Evan Winsor on bass and Rick Lloyd on percussion. The release follows the sisters’ debut single, “Bonfire,” further showcasing their ability to bring their own personality and vocal chemistry to songs rooted in country tradition.

“‘Baby, Don’t You Let Go’ was an idea that came to me one day years ago as I was driving to Nashville for a writing appointment with my friends Jessica Alexander and Austin Cunningham,” says songwriter, Grammy-winning Sonya Isaacs. “I just started groovin’ on the steering wheel and somehow the lyrics just fell out. They jumped on it when I sang it to them at the co-write and we had a blast finishing it together! It’s a quirky, fun, meaningful love song disguised by a stomping, rockin’ beat with sky high harmonies. I’ve always loved it and I’m so excited about JoLeigh’s cut!”

Hailing from the heart of the Bluegrass State, JoJo and Teddi have been harmonizing together since their early days singing at their Papaw Ted Shannon’s church, where he was the preacher. They have also been frequent performers over the years with the Kentucky Opry and Kentucky Opry Junior Pros. Their years of performing together have taken them from regional talent competitions to opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd, performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and appearing at the Kentucky State Governor’s Inauguration. After stepping away from music to focus on marriage and raising their children, the sisters returned to their musical roots and formed JoLeigh. Now signed with Bonfire Music Group, they are continuing to build on the momentum of “Bonfire” and “Baby Don’t You Let Go” while working toward a full-length album that will showcase their signature sister harmonies and Kentucky roots.
