Nashville, Tenn. – Daniel Grindstaff is charging forward with the release of his next single, “I’ll Still Write Your Name In The Sand,” featuring Country Music Hall of Fame Statler Brothers member Jimmy Fortune. Earlier this week, Daniel made his solo debut on WSM 650-AM’s Coffee, Country and Cody, joining hosts Bill Cody, Charlie Mattos, and Kelly Sutton. They discussed the album release and touched on its creative process. The conversation also highlighted the track “Forever Young,” featuring Paul Brewster and Dolly Parton, which had caught Bill Cody’s attention in late 2023 and was selected as one of his Picks of the Week. The track also hit No. 1 on Bluegrass Today’s Weekly Airplay Chart, and Bluegrass Unlimited’s National Airplay Survey chart earlier this spring. The appearance aired live on Circle-TV, and fans who missed it can stream the full interview HERE.

“I’ll Still Write Your Name in the Sand,” an original tune penned by Buddy Starcher, follows a series of chart-topping singles including “Three Arrows,” “Forever Young,” “Finnland,” and the recent Gospel No. 1 hit “Child of the King.” The previous mainstream single “Looking at the World Through a Windshield” is also currently No. 2 on the radio charts. Since its release, the project has garnered widespread acclaim. The Hollywood Digest calls it “one of the best all-star albums in recent memory.” Ballyhoo Magazine agrees by saying, “It’s propelled by musicianship of the highest caliber. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to imagine a better way for Daniel Grindstaff to launch his solo career.”
