Wilson Banjo Co. is a hard driving Bluegrass band from South Carolina, founded by Steve Wilson, Banjo picker & Master Luthier. Steve not only picks the banjo but builds Custom Wilson Banjo’s and performs Vintage Guitar Repairs & Restoration. The band was initially formed to promote the custom banjo’s but has since taken on a life of it’s own as well and we sure hope you like what they do.
As a performing band, they set out to deliver an energetic display of traditional bluegrass music, backed by the notorious drive that Wilson Banjo Co. fans have come to know and love. Their humor and entertaining banter on stage reflects a level of cohesiveness and professionalism not easily attained by young bands. The evolution of Wilson Banjo Co. has truly come full circle and it seems all of the patience and hard work put into trying to make sure things were done right, are paying off.
