Project Features Haunting New Single “Three Blind Mice” Penned by Crawford
Nashville, Tenn. – Acclaimed South Carolina-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Crawford has released his highly anticipated new album, The Guitar. Showcasing Crawford’s signature blend of edgy acoustic arrangements and heartfelt songwriting, the 10-track collection highlights both his instrumental prowess and emotional depth as an artist. The Guitar is available now on all digital and streaming platforms via Bonfire Music Group HERE.
The album’s next single, “Three Blind Mice,” stands as one of its most striking moments. Written by Crawford, the track leans into the raw, acoustic-driven style he’s known for, with his musicianship on full display as he performs vocals, guitar, mandolin, bass and percussion. Joined by special guest Adam Bachman on dobro, the song tells the evolving story of three fugitives moving from town to town, with lyrics that unfold in a haunting, almost cinematic way. Gritty, honest and undeniably Bluegrass at its core, the track captures Crawford at his most unfiltered.
Crawford penned eight of the project’s ten tracks, offering a deeply personal collection rooted in real stories. Alongside his original material, The Guitar features a reimagined Bluegrass take on Guy Clark’s iconic “The Guitar,” a song that has long inspired Crawford as an avid guitarist. The album also includes a viral Bluegrass instrumental version of the “Yellowstone Theme,” inspired by the hit TV series, reworked through Crawford’s acoustic lens. Additional highlights include fan-favorite singles such as “The Millworker’s Wage” and “Back With A Lonesome Sound,” each reinforcing the album’s themes of heritage, struggle and storytelling through song.
A career guitarist, instructor, singer, songwriter and producer from upstate South Carolina, Andrew Crawford has built his reputation through years of touring, teaching and recording.
